In January 2026, MONALISA reached local audiences in Los Pedroches through a radio interview on Radio Luna SER in Villanueva de Córdoba. Aleix Antonell (ADROCHES) spoke about MONALISA’s progress in the region and, in particular, the citizen survey we have launched to gather local perspectives on soil health, land degradation, and effective soil management practices.

This kind of outreach is essential for MONALISA’s Living Lab approach: solutions to land degradation are strongest when they are co-developed with the people who manage and depend on local land and soils. The survey is designed to capture observations and priorities from across the comarca, helping ensure that MONALISA’s work reflects real on-the-ground needs and experiences.
