UNCCD COP17 – 17th Session of the Conference of the Parties
Organized under the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification (UNCCD) and hosted by the Government of Mongolia, COP17 is taking place from 17 to 28 August 2026 in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, under the theme “Restoring Land. Restoring Hope.” The conference brings together representatives of UNCCD’s 197 Parties, governments, scientists, businesses, civil society, youth, Indigenous Peoples, pastoralists and farmers to advance global action against desertification, land degradation and drought.
