On Tuesday, November 12th, 2024, the first online Co-Design Meeting with Local Stakeholders was successfully co-organized by MONALISA partners CREAF (Centro de Investigación Ecológica y Aplicaciones Forestales) and GDR Los Pedroches.
This event marked a significant milestone for the MONALISA project and the beginning of activities on the Los Pedroches Case Study site, as it brought together a diverse group of stakeholders committed to combating land desertification and degradation.
The meeting gathered Land Management and Restoration Practitioners, Policy and Decision Makers, Scientific Research and Academic Institution Representatives, Agricultural companies and cooperatives, creating a dynamic platform for exchanging ideas and fostering collaboration. During this initial assembly, participants shared valuable insights and demonstrated a strong commitment to co-developing solutions aimed at restoring land and supporting sustainable land management practices.
