Community of Knowledge News

The MONALISA project’s Community of Knowledge (KC) is a platform with the goal of fostering collaboration, innovation and action in the fight against land degradation and desertification (LDD).

The KC is designed as a platform to unite key experts, including researchers, technical experts, policymakers and civil society, to share insights, co-create solutions, and scale successful interventions. With a robust structure, the Community operates on three levels of engagement: Core members (directly involved experts), the Community of Interest (active contributors), and General Stakeholders (recipients of knowledge outputs).

The MONALISA Community of Knowledge is led by our project partner ISPRA Italian Institute for Environmental Protection and Research through the Task 5.4 Building a Community of Knowledge to facilitate the dissemination and use of results.

Additionally, the KC collaborates with high-impact networks and integrates results into the Mission Soil framework. With the involvement of over 300 members, the KC supports scientific exchange and policy integration, ensuring that MONALISA’s outputs leave a legacy beyond the project’s duration.
