WeWorld

We World is an Italian independent organization working in development cooperation and humanitarian aid for over 50 years, active today in 26 countries with 179 projects reaching over 9,7 million direct beneficiaries in the following fields of intervention: human rights (gender equality, prevention and contrast of violence against women and children, migrations), humanitarian aid, food security, water and sanitation, health, education, socio-economic development, environmental protection, global citizenship education and international volunteering. We World, co-lead of the case study in Palestine, will combat land degradation and desertification through innovative practices, integrating local social knowledge. We will demonstrate societal, economic, and environmental benefits, while co-creating, implementing, and co-evaluating restoration methodologies and fostering stakeholder engagement.

MEET OUR PARTNERS

Led by the University of Sassari, the MONALISA is a EU Soil Mission project that brings together leaders from industry, policy, government, research, academia, and science across Mediterranean to collaborate on the next generation of solutions to combat land degradation and desertification processes in the climate-sensitive drylands through innovative planning and management.
