The 6th WASWAC World Conference

The World Association for Soil and Water Conservation (WASWAC), in partnership with the National Institute of Agricultural Research (INRA), the International Center for Agricultural Research in the Dry Areas (ICARDA), the Moroccan Ministry of Agriculture, Maritime Fisheries, Rural Development, Water and Forests, and the International Research and Training Center on Erosion and Sedimentation (IRTCES), is organizing the 6th WASWAC World Conference: Resilient Landscapes: Innovations and Traditions in Climate-Adaptive Soil and Water Conservation (RISE-SWC). This initiative is further supported by the International Water Management Institute (IWMI), the African Plant Nutrition Institute (APNI), the Hassan II Institute of Agronomy and Veterinary Sciences (IAV), and the National School of Agriculture (ENA), reinforcing a global commitment to sustainable soil and water conservation.

The RISE-SWC conference will serve as a global platform for experts, policymakers, and practitioners to exchange knowledge, innovative practices, and policy strategies. The event will focus on integrating traditional wisdom with modern technologies, tackling socioeconomic challenges, and delivering practical solutions to mitigate the impact of climate change on soil and water resources.
